Eastlake is gated deed-restricted community approximately two miles east of I-75 off Clark Road.   The 97 single family residences were constructed by Authur Rutenberg and Maglich Homes for the most part.  The homes in the community are well maintained by the owners.  Aventura Drive is the only street and it forms a loop back to the main gate.  Construction started in 1994 and the last home was completed in 2004.  Homes are from 1,900 square feet up to over 3,200 square feet with as many as five or six bedrooms. Nearly all homes are concrete block construction with stucco and a few will have tile roofs.  Expect modern Florida designs in all homes with high ceilings, large modern kitchens, large open family rooms over looking spacious lanais, and inviting master suites with double sinks and large separate tubs.  Many homes have heated pools.  You can also expect a two or three car garage.  Upgraded lots will have some sort of lake or preserve view.  Annual fees are low as few expenses are incurred for the owner run association.

Eastlake is located across from the 123 acre Twin Lakes Park.

The schools serving Eastlake are Lakeview Elementary, Sarasota Middle, and the desirable Riverview High.
