Beneva Oaks Homes in Sarasota for Sale

Beneva Oaks is located just south of Clark Rd East of Beneva Road.  Siesta Key Beach is just a short drive away and the Sarasota Square Mall is a quick drive south.  Any sort of shopping or restaurants are within five minutes by car.  I-75 is just five minutes away for easy access.

Entering into Beneva Oaks you will see homes in the newer section of Beneva Oaks to the left and right on Woodbirch Rd.  Straight ahead, are the gates to the older more prestigious section of Beneva Oaks.

The Gated Estate section of Beneva Oaks is behind a secure gate and is a showcase of some of the grandest custom homes in Sarasota.  What you first notice is the extraordinary setting of lushly manicured yards, circular driveways, and towering Oaks.  There are 41 home sites on lots ranging from one-half acre up to just over an acre.  The custom-built homes vary in construction type and style with square footages running from about 2,500 square feet to over 6,500 square feet.  Many homes have three car garages.  The first home was completed in 1980 and the final home was completed in 1989.

The 21 homes in the newer front section of Beneva Oaks on Woodbirch Rd. will range in size from just under 2,000 square feet up to 2,600 square feet.  All of the homes are block & stucco construction with two car garages, open designs with high ceilings,  and many of the homes will have caged pools. Construction began in 1989 and ended in 1994 although one home was built in 2000 on the last available lot.  Lot sizes start at around 10,000 sq.ft. with 14,000+ being the largest. 

Local knowledge of Woodbirch Rd. is to point out the even numbered homes may back to Beneva Road which may allow for a little more road noise than some buyers may want.

The schools are Gulf Gate Elementary, Sarasota Middle and the desirable Riverview High.
