At the intersection of Center Gate Blvd travelling south from Bee Ridge to Wilkinson Rd. you will find yourself in the convenient location of Center Gate.  This community has it all; single family homes and maintenance free villas.  Homeowners have easy access to shopping, I-75, and Sarasota’s world class beaches including the #1 ranked Siesta Key Beach.  All Center Gate homes are concrete block construction.  This is a deed-restricted community in the zip code area of 34233 is known for affordability, safe quiet streets, and professionally maintained mature landscaping.

Center Gate Single Family Homes range from just under 1,500 sq. ft. to over 3,500 sq. ft.  Many of the homes have private pools and screened lanais.  The design of the homes feature high ceilings, open kitchens with pantries, laundry rooms, two or three car garages, fireplaces, and flowing designs.  The monthly fees here are much lower in exchange for the homeowner being responsible for maintenance and insurance.  Construction started in 1978 with the final homes on Marcott Circle being complete in 1994.

Center Gate Villas offer quality of life without all the hassles of maintaining a home.  If these features are on your “must have” list, then Center Gate should be on your “must see” list.  You can expect villas to range from two bedrooms two baths with 1,350 square feet.  The upper end of villas in Center Gate go all the way up to three bedroom two baths with nearly 2,500 square feet.  Of course, there might be a small premium for an end unit.  Nearly all of the villas have two car garages, high ceilings, and bright open kitchens.   Your monthly fee here includes exterior maintenance, basic cable service, reserve fund for things live roofs, maintenance of the grounds, a community pool and insurance. Construction began in 1979 and ended in the mid 1980’s.  There are also “55+” areas within Center Gate Villas.
