Amberlea is a gated community located at the southeast corner of Proctor and McIntosh Roads originally built by Arther Rutenberg.  You will appreciate the care owners take of there homes in this gated community with professionally landscaped yards and the obvious meticulous care all the home owners show for the community. 

Construction of the Amberlea subdivision began in 1988 and continued through 1991 and there were 94 homes built when finished.  All of the homes are concrete block construction and feature high ceilings up to twelve feet, private caged pools, spacious and modern kitchens, exquisite master suites, and two or three car garages.  Homes range from 2,350 square feet up to over 3,500 square feet.  Many of the homes feature crown moldings, fireplaces, summer kitchens, and dens.  If part of your decision is to be based on schools, Amberlea is located in the desirable Riverview school district.
