Cedars East and Cedars West

Located at the northern end of Longboat Key in Manatee County are the townhouse/condos at Cedars East and Cedars West. As the names indicate, the residences at Cedars West are located on the Gulf of Mexico west of Gulf of Mexico Drive and the units at Cedars East are bayside.  

Cedars is a popular tropical resort on sixty-six acres featuring a nature preserve, kayak launch, fishing pier, a day dock for visitors by boat, bike racks, a large heated pool with a tiki-bar and 10 Har-Tru tennis courts.  Also expect to find one-car garage units.

This ideal location offer quick access to explore Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach to the north and St. Armand’s to the south. The Sarasota downtown area and Lido Key is just a few minutes further. Cedars is a great way to enjoy the Island lifestyle without having to break the bank. Many units are sold turn-key furnished and ready to enjoy.

Cedars West is made up of 56 units located beachside on the white sand beaches of Longboat Key. Residences were constructed around 1975 and range from about 1,300 to 1,600 square feet. There are two and three bedroom units with two full baths.

Cedars East is located bayside and made up of 94 units. Townhomes are from 1,300 to 2,800 square feet. These units were new in the 1988 to 1991 timeframe and two-bedroom to four-bedroom configurations with two full baths are available.

Streets are Forest Way, Evergreen Way, and Cedars Court. 

Owners are permitted one pet up to about 30 pounds. 

Rentals are permitted 26 times per year with each rental period being two-weeks as a minimum.

Quite often the choices at Cedars East and West may be somewhat limited due to the high demand for affordable beachfront condos. Be sure to take a look at the similar units for sale in the area and check back often as we update our MLS information several times an hour.
