If living in the hub of the Sarasota downtown area is what you are looking for without having to pay Ritz Carlton prices, then One Watergate should be on your “must see” list.  From the moment you drip up through the grand circular entrance, you know living here is something special.  Located at the desirable 1111 Gulfstream Avenue address, this 18 story, 104 unit complex was built in 1974.   It’s just a quick trip by foot to Mariana Jack, several theaters and the diverse restaurants this in-town location offers.   Lido Beach, St. Armand’s and Selby Gardens are just a quick five minute trip away by car.

Residents have stunning views that range from downtown to bay views from their wrap-around terraces.  “C” units are the largest and overlook the bay and marina.  Two-bedroom two–bath run from approximately 1,600 to just over 1,700 square feet.  There are also a few select units with three or four bedrooms up to over 3,700 square feet.  Owners are assigned one or two covered secure parking spaces and the front desk is staffed. 

Features here include a recently upgraded and updated heated swimming pool, tennis courts, elevators, a community room and recently renovated state of the art exercise facility.  Fees include cable, free wireless, grounds maintenance, an on site manager, insurance, security, maintenance and repair.  Washer and dryers are within each unit.

Owners are allowed to rent their unit one time per year on an annual basis after the unit has been owned for two years.   The condominium is also a member of the Downtown Sarasota Condo Association which promotes the interest of downtown condo owners.  Sorry, pets are not allowed.
