Dolphin Tower Condos for Sale

Please be aware of the structural issues surrounding Dolphin Tower.  As of the posting of this page, the building has been condemned until repairs can be made.  Read a recent article in the Sarasota Herald Tribune regarding the estimated 8.2 million repair estimate for the building.  Some repair quotes are rumored to be $10,000,000.  For the 116 unit building, this would mean each owner would be accessed $87,000.

August 30 2012 Herald Tribune Article - Owners facing assessments that could top $100,000.  What should also be a consideration is what and how potential cost overruns will be handled.  There is also a real concern looking forward as to what the market value of these units will be after the repairs are complete.  There may be a stigma attached to these properties which could be reflected in value of these units after repairs are completed.
