Seeing Homes in Florida

When you find a home you like on-line, we suggest you mark it as a favorite.  This helps you to keep track of the homes you like.  It also helps us to take your selections and come up with ideas of homes that maybe you had not thought of.

We like to have at least 48 hours notice prior to the actual date we will veiw the homes you have select.  This is because many homes are occupied and require an appointment.  We find that you select your best five or 10 properties to see this works out best.  Generally, seeing more than about eight homes in one session can be confusing to keep track of.  If you have more to see we can schedule it for the following day.  We also need a little bit of time to arrange the showings in an order that both makes sense from a driving perspective as well as a time table that works for all the sellers.

So You Have a Lot of Real Estate You Want to See

If you have a lot of potential homes you would like to see in many different areas, sometimes it works best to locate just one or two homes in each subdivision.  Many times you will find some areas that you just don’t like once we get out and see them.  It also helps to eliminate some areas over others so that we can focus only on those areas you like and ignore the rest.  This is all helpful and part of the process.

Our initial objective may not be to find a home to buy but to eliminate areas or subdivisions.  It is usually obvious which homes will become your top picks once we have been out.  If you know that you are not interested in a particular property when we get there we can just move on.  After seeing two or three homes, mentally compare the home you in to the best home so far.  We have found this is the best approach to keeping the property straight in your mind.  Trying to remember and have a bunch of homes in your mind to compare can get a little confusing.  In fact, not being focued can leave you confused by mixing up back yards with bedrooms after seeing a lot of homes.  We will always come back and take a second look at the best properties so you can make your buying decision.
