The first section of Rosedale consists of 652 homes and villas ranging from 1,300 to over 4,000 square feet. Lots overlook preserve, lake or golf course views and ranch from about 4,000 square feet in the Westbury section to approximately 25,000 sq.ft. in areas like the Highlands section. Solid concrete construction homes range from two-bedroom two-bath configurations up to larger four-bedroom three-baths.  Homes are generally maintained well and some have private pools. Expect to find two-car garages, high ceilings, quiet streets, and exquisite landscaping.

Construction resumed around 2013 in Rosedale with 123 luxury home sites featuring the latest designed and amenities homebuyers are looking for today. Homes range from just over 1,500 up to 4,000+ square feet in 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom designs. Lot sizes vary around the half-acre size. Builders like WCI and Ashton Homes have on-site models (as of 2016) to spark ideas for a Lakewood Ranch new home build.
