Pine View School - Tops in the Country

Riverview and Venice also Top the 100 Best Florida Schools for 2012

U.S. News and world report has come out with its annual list of top high schools in the country.  Once again the Pine View School in the Osprey Florida ranks at the top of the list coming in at number five in the state and 30th overall in the nation.  While number 30th to respectable entry it does reflect dropping 16 positions over last year’s number 14th ranking.  One-hundred twelve teachers are available for the  2,170 students giving an optimum ratio of 18 to 1.  The average college readiness court is 97.9 on a scale of 0 to 100.  There us more information about PineView School in Sarasota County.

Two other Sarasota County high schools making this year’s list include River View High School which came in 59th in the state and Venice Senior High School which came in number at number 63 statewide.
