Palm Aire Sales Up for 2011

Palm Aire sale numbers are up for this year compared to the same period last year with single digit increases across the board.  These are not the big numbers places like Bird Key  put up this year but units sold up by 5%, average sale price up 2% and average sale price per square foot are all good news.  The exciting fact about these numbers is that they are sustainable over the long haul.

Looking behind the numbers and the short sales and foreclosure listings are at or below the broader Sarasota market.  There are only 7 short sale listings out of the total 58 listings (12%), 12 of the 27 pendings are short sales (44%) and 19 of the 113 sold properties (17%) were short sales.  All of the short sale numbers for Palm Aire are pretty much similar or better than the broader market.
